IBLEND MEDIA TRAINED GHANA BLIND UNION AND OTHER PWDs IN ICT AND WEBSITE MANAGEMENT

Technology has come to stay, which affects many aspects of our lives; the disabled are not excluded. In promoting inclusivity and social change, IBLEND MEDIA has organized a 2-day tailor-made website accessibility, management and IT training for GBU staff in Accra.

 IBLEND MEDIA has organized free website management and IT training for the Ghana Blind Union (GBU) in Accra to empower them to keep abreast of technology issues and current IT trends in websites, such as web accessibility standards, inclusive design principles and disability awareness training. iBLEND MEDIA has organized similar IT development and empowerment trainings for the Ghana Federation of Disability Organizations (GFD) and Ghana Association of Persons with Albinism (GAPA). The training ushered them in and armed them with the requisite skills in digital empowerment and accessibility. They also learned about digital accessibility and how it serve as a powerful tool for persons with disabilities in decision-making.
